Terms and Conditions 2026
Individual or group bookings with the same registration profile (e.g. full conference attendance) for the ZVO Surface Days 2026 can be made exclusively online from mid-April 2026 until 14 September 2026, 13:00 at the latest. Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. Please note that when paying by credit card, transaction issues may arise due to the Secure ID procedure. For registrations made on or after 10 August 2026, payment will only be possible by credit card.
Upon receipt of your registration, you will automatically receive your confirmation and the participant invoice. These documents will NOT be sent by post. Please forward the participant invoice to the relevant department within your company immediately upon receipt! Payment is to be made to our ticketing and payment service provider CONVERIA GmbH, Weimar. The relevant bank details are included in the participant invoice.
In accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that participant data will be stored in a file and processed further.
Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive an automated confirmation of registration and your event ticket by email.
The following terms and conditions for conference tickets for the ZVO Surface Days 2026 are shown net. Please note that these prices appear gross, i.e. including 19% VAT, during the online registration process.

All prices are in euros, plus the statutory VAT applicable at the time of invoicing.
1Members of ZVO, BIV and DGO are entitled to attend the entire conference, including the welcome evening, conference materials, refreshments during breaks and a light lunch

Cancellation / Terms and Conditions
By submitting a binding registration, the customer is deemed to have read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of ZVO Service GmbH, in particular Section 11 “Cancellation of seminars, conferences and congresses”:
The customer may withdraw from registrations for seminars, conferences and congresses in accordance with the following provisions and cancellation fees:
If cancelled up to 30 days before the start of the event (= up to and including 17 August 2026), the event fee is waived
In the event of cancellation up to 20 days before the start of the event (= up to and including 27 August 2026), the customer must pay 25% of the original event fee
In the event of cancellation up to 10 days before the start of the event (= up to and including 6 September 2026), the customer must pay 50% of the original event fee
In the event of cancellation up to 5 days before the start of the event (= up to and including 11 September 2026), the customer must pay 75% of the original event fee
In the event of subsequent cancellation (= from 12 September 2026), the customer must pay 100% of the original event fee
If the customer provides a replacement participant, the cancellation fees mentioned above shall not apply. The customer must always pay a processing fee of €50 for the change of participant.
Eligible refunds of participant fees already paid will be made subject to a cancellation fee of €50.
The customer shall be liable for any additional costs incurred by ZVO Service GmbH as a result of the change of participant. Withdrawal for legal reasons and its legal consequences remain unaffected by the above provision.

This event constitutes a service under Section 3a(3)(5) of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG). Accordingly, the place of supply for such services is the venue of the event, provided that the event falls within the scope of education, science or exhibitions, with the result that German VAT must always be charged under these circumstances and the reverse charge procedure does not apply.
